Curriculum Work, Adaptive Schools Training and Jodi O'Meara's Schedule for Monday


The week has not finished but the preparation for work ahead has begun!  Thank you to all who worked on course descriptions, unit descriptions and other necessary curriculum work.  More details and timelines will be shared for future dedicated work time on October 12 and 19.

On to Monday, September 12 and Jodi O’Meara’s Visit.
Jodi O’Meara is returning to AISC to work with us for a
second year on our RtI efforts with a focus on Tier 1 and Tier 2 Interventions Interventions for Extension. With over 18 years as a teacher and administrator of general education, special education and gifted education, she recognizes the diverse needs of students and teachers. Jodi specializes in professional development in the areas of differentiated instruction for both students with special needs as well as students identified as gifted.  Jodi will be at AISC from Sept. 12 – 21, 2016

Mr. Roussin is the Co-Director of the Center for Thinking Collaborative and works as an educational consultant with both US and Internationally based educational organizations.  As an educational consultant, Mr. Roussin specializes in individual, group and organizational collaboration and development
Ms. Simoneau has over 20 years’ experience as a teacher & reading specialist with students of all ages. She has also chaired or served as a member on school improvement & accreditation teams designed to develop school community & facilitate achievement. She is also the author of “A Facilitator’s Guide to On-Line Professional Development: Establishing Communities of Learning & Cultures of Thinking
