All,
I love the excitement of March! Spring Break, College Basketball, St. Patrick’s Day. At AISC, we also have a number of exciting events. Let me know if you have any questions on the events below.
AISC Hosts Maker Summit Friday and Saturday March 3-4
March 3rd and 4th AISC is proud to host the Makeology Maker Summit dedicated to making and tinkering. Making and tinkering is a powerful form of learning where students construct their own knowledge through hands-on thinking, making and doing. A making and tinkering mindset values playfulness and experimentation, iteration, collaboration and community engagement as ways of learning growing and connecting.
This Maker Summit will be attended by teachers from regional international schools, including AISC, and will showcase our new design labs as well as the innovative ways our teachers are integrating making into learning. To learn more about this summit click HERE.
For those of you who have signed up for the The Maker Summit, next Friday and Saturday March 3-4, please select the Hands-On Strand you like to attend on Days 1 and 2 of the Summit. Consilience will attempt to assign you to the Strand of your choice. Session description and draft schedule HERE
Participants, please make your selection before Monday February 27. The final schedule is coming out soon. AISC Participant list and AISC Room Lists links.
