Professional Learning and Development
To make it easier for you to update your individual Professional Development and Learning Transcript, see the LINK HERE for a complete list of 2017-2018 AISC Professional Learning and Development Opportunities.  

Follow these step to have an individualize, signed AISC PLD Transcript:
  1. Make a copy of the 2017-2018 AISC PLD Opportunities
  2. Individualize the list including which of the AISC PDL events you specifically participated in
  3. Include the number of hours per event. Example:  Suzie Boss--PBL--2.5 HOURS
  4. Share it with me with your name on the list
  5. I will have it printed on letterhead, stamped, and signed
  6. You pick it up at the DTL Office
This is a great way to stay up to date on your continuing education recertification hours.  Please submit all requests for transcripts by 8:00 AM on June 2 for signature.  Those received after June 2, can pick up transcripts at the start of next year. 

New Faculty Assistance
In order to help new faculty acculturate to Chennai, your help is needed.  If you have a MUST KNOW TIP to living in Chennai, please add it to the document linked below.

After vetting of comments by the Wellness Committee, a document will be created for New Faculty to hang on their refrigerator, top tips from the AISC Community.


Please add a tip you feel new faculty MUST KNOW to improve the quality of life in Chennai.  Some examples are below AND should help new faculty settle in to life in Chennai.  A sentence starter could be for each of these tips, Did you know…

Co-Teaching
In preparation for 2018-19, The Teaching and Learning Leadership (TALL) and the EAL (English Additional Language) Program have created and approved Guidelines for Co-Teachers (Homeroom/Subject Area & EAL Teachers) Working Together To Support Students in an effort to better communicate the roles and responsibilities of Co-Teachers (Homeroom/Subject Area & EAL) please find the following document.  LINK HERE This is a preview for next year.  An individual email will be shared with teachers in co-teaching partnership.
