Everyone is just looking to be told that who he or she is is right and
true and wholly acceptable. No need to tinker and tweak. Exactly right. -- Gregory Boyle Tattoos on

Introducing the Visiting Expert
Guideline and Proposal Form
Inviting visiting experts to AISC is an
excellent way to expand our educational program and provide learning
opportunities for students. Experts may be invited to contribute to
courses/projects in a particular section, work across sections in a subject
area, or anchor a special event. Specifically, Visiting Experts should be in
support of the AISC Curriculum.
AISC has always supported distinguished
visitors to campus and over the years the experts have only increase. Due
to the success of bringing these outside experts to our students, we have
increased the financial commitment to these worthy endeavors. We have also
increased the structure to support these visitors.
If you are interested in inviting an
expert to campus, and that expert is not a community member (ie. a parent) you
will need to complete the Visiting Expert Approval Form before
extending an invitation. This process will also ensure that AISC offers a full,
varied, and balanced collection of visiting experts throughout the year.
Completion of an approval form is required regardless of whether a speaking fee
or honorarium is involved.
EAL Shout-out!
Have a great break!
