EAL Shout-out!
Welcome back to what is primed to be an outstanding school year! I was fortunate enough to meet with the AISC Faculty Class of 2019 earlier this week and let me tell you, they are amazing! And, although my time with them was very short, I shared with them the AISC Language Philosophy, the demographics of our ELL population, what the EAL Program covers, and several EAL professional learning opportunities for all. Feel free to review the slides. If you have any questions or if you would like me to dive deeper into any of these topics, please let me know! I’m more than happy to meet with you.

As this is my second year at AISC, I hope to be spending more time in classrooms, looking for ways to support our ELLs. If you would like me to come to your class, feel free to add a calendar invite to my schedule. The calendar invite should include what you’d like me to look for/comment on. I’m looking forward to seeing you all in your classroom element!

Happy 2019-20!

Peace-
